What you will do:
To coordinate, implement and control the Agronomy Sustanability Program and Projects for Pyxus Agriculture Tanzania Limited and Pyxus International Inc. Agrivulture Sustanability Standards and procedures.
• Planning and control Agronomy sustainability programs,
• Sustainability reporting, collates and validates data for all pillars under tobacco and sunflower, tree and other crops;
• Appraisal and compliance of sustainability Programs,
• Data protocols and analysis to ensure standardization and integrity, and to enable generalizations and informed inference;
• Oversee Governance pillar under the broader Pyxus’ sustainability programs

Who you are and what you’ve done:
• Degree in Enviromental Science /Management or similar
• Post graduate degree in Environment and Natural Resources or similar field
Experience
• Project management, environment, natural resources, business analysis, statistical management (4 to 6 Years) Sustainable agriculture experience within a small holder context
• GIS and Remote sensing experience
Knowledge Areas
• Statistics, economics and business management
• Budgeting and financial control
• GPS and GIS
• Data management and organisation
Skills
The successful candidate should have the ability to broadly think strategically and adapt quickly to Pyxus’business environment, within a framework provided by Management. Specifically the candidate should have the following:-
• Ability to impart, effectively, technical knowledge and skills to field technicians and farmers
• Ability to manage and work in team environment
• Ability to analyse, solve related problems and make accurate decisions

• Ability to prepare and present complex reports and plans, and communicate clearly at all levels;
• Ability to plan and organise work on a monthly, quarterly, bi annual and annual basis
