One of the recent projects in its program portfolio is The Tanzania Milk Processing Project (TMPP), an ambitious 18 Months Project designed to increase the incomes of smallholder dairy farmers in Tanzania through better access to reliable, high-value markets while ensuring processors have access to increased supply of high-quality milk in Njombe, Rungwe, Tanga, Kilimanjaro, Arusha and Morogoro. In responsive to this project needs, the Country Program is seeking to recruit competent candidates for the following positions .
FUNCTION: Tanzania Milk Processing Project (TMPP) Monitoring Learning Evaluation (MLE) Officer reports to the Program Director. S/he also works closely with the country TMPP management team to provide overall support to the Monitoring Learning Evaluation function across all zones where TMPP operates. As such, sího will work in close collaboration with respective TMPP staff with a view to supporting cach zone to realize quality project outcomes and to document and present the same in a manner that is impactful and of high quality. To this end, he/she will provide technical assistance, advice and support on key aspects of Monitoring Learning Evaluation that would shape the overall TMPP's framework and ensure that all outcomes are achieved
ESSENTIAL CHARACTER TRAITS: Enthusiasm, Orderliness, Compliance, Creativity, Determination, Diligence, Self-starter, critical thinices, curious.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in international development, quantitative economics, business and or statistics or the equivalent with at least two (2) years of demonstrated experience in the Monitoring, Learning & Evaluation field, gained through working in the development context, preferably in a non-governmental organization (NGO) or relevant private sector context as well as experience in supporting and monitoring field based programs
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree or equivalent in international development, quantitative economics, business and or statistics or the equivalent with an academic focus on monitoring and evaluation, plus four (4) years of direct relevant experience in Monitoring Learning Evaluation.
