JOB DETAILS:
The Assistant Mother works in partnership with the Mother to ensure that they provide reliable care services to the children in their care. Auxiliary Mother is an important part of SOS families; so he has to be a caring, understanding, mature and responsible person so that he can be trusted by children as a true guardian.

Responsibilities of the Assistant Mother.
• She supports the mother by working closely with the mother and ensuring there is prosperity among the children she cares for.
• Takes on Mother's responsibilities when she is away, lives in SOS homes and does all the chores that Mom has to do, these responsibilities include washing and ironing children's clothes, cooking, bathing and general household hygiene
• Helps Mom in managing educational development of children, for example supervising children while they are studying, helping children to do the tasks assigned to them by teachers. He understands and oversees the rights and responsibilities of every child.
• Helps Mother plan and manage leisure activities, sports or outings to build unity and solidarity.
• Gives accurate information to the mother about anything that has happened to the baby in a step further.
• She assists the mother with tasks such as budgeting, product purchasing, meal planning and accounting as required.
• She guides the children so that they can be self-reliant, she advises the children to develop themselves academically and academically to enable them to cope with life after leaving the SOS formation village.

Qualifications of the Applicant
• Must be a minimum of Secondary Education, Training Certificate of Parenting, Development and Early Childhood Development (ECD) is an additional qualification
• Must have no significant family responsibilities, no children under 12 years
• Must she is ready to live in SOS Village as a mother of children in need of care.
• The ability to speak English is an additional feature.
• If he or she does not have a secondary school certificate, he or she must have any childcare certificate or any other letter confirming that he or she has been involved in the upbringing of such children.
• A mother who has completed Form Four will be given priority.
