Currently, LVIA is implementing the “Improve the Environment, Use Improved Cookstoves” project in Kongwa District, Dodoma Region under the “Green Tanzania Cookstoves” programme.

Project Objectives

The project operates in 27 villages in Kongwa District and aims to:

• Reduce reliance on traditional cooking methods
• Promote environmental conservation through tree planting
• Distribute improved cookstoves to 26,000 rural families
• Contribute to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) including:
  • Poverty reduction
  • Health improvement
  • Gender equality
  • Sustainable economic growth
  • Ecosystem protection

Tender Details

Construction services

LVIA Tanzania intends to award a supply contract for the purchase of tree seedlings in Dodoma and Kongwa Districts.

Scope of Supply

Interested suppliers are invited to tender for the supply of:

• 26,000 fruit tree seedlings
• 25,000 leaf tree seedlings
• Delivery rate: Approximately 5,000 seedlings per month, starting from March 2025
