JOB DETAILS:
Job Summary.
This is a training position; candidates in this position are required to understudy senior members of academic staff so as to acquire skills in training, research and consultancy.
Duties and Responsibilities
• To teach up to NTA level 6 (Ordinary Diploma);
• To assist in conducting tutorial, seminars and practical exercises for students under close supervision;
• To prepare learning resources for tutorial exercises;
• To assist in conducting research under close supervision;
• To carry out consultancy and community services under close supervision; and
• To perform any other duties assigned by supervisor.
Qualification and Experience
• Holder of Bachelor Degree in Marine Engineering Technology with a GPA of at least 3.5.; and Possess a certificate of competency as Officer in charge of an engineering watch on seagoing ships powered by main propulsion machinery of 750Kw or more.
