Description
Caritas Tabora is also known as the Development Department of the Catholic Archdiocese of Tabora. The scope of Caritas Tabora is extended to facilitate self-help Development, Emergency and Relief services as vehicle to increase the livelihood security of those most marginalised in society - without discrimination (of gender, religion, ethnic group / race) or political biasness.
Caritas Tabora operates in the whole of Tabora region administrative boundaries, the head office is in the premises of the Catholic Archdiocese of Tabora, Archbishops house and has one project office located in Ulyankulu Refugee Settlement wherein Caritas Tabora implements the project on Enhancing Peace and Coexistences of heterogeneous Communities in Ulyankulu Settlement, major provisions being civic education, conflicts resolutions, water supply and hygiene and sanitation.

Qualifications:
Bachelor degree from any recognized institute in the following relevant fields: Peace and Conflicts Resolution Studies, Public Health, Public Administration, Environmental Science, Natural Resources and Forest Management.
Desirable Skills and Requirements:
God-fearing person.
Experience in field works.
• Village Community Banks; experience in working with Refugees.
• Competence in conflicts resolutions, Human rights, Gender based violence.
• Ability to work under minimum supervision/maximum pressure; willingness and commitment to work less privileged groups in remote areas.
• Good computer skills and good command of English Language.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years working experience in similar position.
Age: Between 25 –45 years.
Salary: Negotiable.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Coordinating the project at the village level.
• Training and capacitating focal persons, households – at groups and village level to permanently resolve conflicts, enhance civic education among heterogeneous communities.
• Improve sanitation and hygiene while conserving environment.
• Conducting monitoring, evaluation; and reporting.
