JOB DETAILS:
Position: Waiter/Butler
Reports to: Camp Manager

Wilderness Wayo Limited is a prominent player in the tourism industry in Tanzania, specializing in providing unique and authentic safari experiences. We operate a number of high-end camps in the Northern safari circuit in Tanzania. We operate a substantial DMC service, travel shop and activity department. We also run a large community and conservation initiative where positive tourism aids in the betterment to the lives of people and wildlife. Wilderness Wayo Ltd is one of the leading and most respected safari and camp operators in Tanzania.

As a Waiter/Butler your role is to assist camp manager and camp kitchen in the smooth running to the camp’s operation in order to exceed guest’s expectations. Assist and participate to the packing, move and setup of camp.

Primary roles
• Meeting and dealing with guests on all levels, assisting wherever possible, ensuring that the guest experience is exceeded.
• To provide guests the best possible service ensuring the correct procedures are followed.
• To assist camp management with any administrative inputs requested as well as assisting with any stocktakes procedures (assets, food and beverages…).
• To ensure the safety of your guests and staff at all times
• To ensure that guests get special enhancements at least once during their stay.
• To ensure that the Housekeeping department is offering the guests the best service according to minimum standards set out by the training department

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
• Certificate in Tourism Management or equivalent.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience within the hospitality industry.
• Experience in handling international guests and seasoned travellers will give an added advantage.
• Basic Wine and other Beverages drinks knowledge.
