Job Summary:
The Zonal Manager is responsible for managing a high-volume, pick, pack and ship fulfillment/collection center operations and is the main point of contact between the Managers/HOD’s, Management Team, Warehouse, Logistics leaders and associates. The responsibilities include overseeing the day-to-day operations of the collection/fulfillment centers, shipping daily related orders, receiving materials, inventory management, demand/supply and order management planning, quality control, safety, and reporting.
A successful Zonal Manager is a motivational leader, responsible for engaging their team at every start of the day to achieve the highest levels of performance, safety, quality and attendance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Lead, manage and direct associates to meet or exceed operational goals and targets , as well as monitoring performance, quality, and providing coaching and development
• Establish and measure against Key Performance Indicators to make ongoing improvements and enhancements
• Accountable for ensuring accuracy and on-time shipments, appropriate staffing levels and people utilization, and ensuring product quality; provide periodic reports to the Management; work cross functionally with other departments to ensure goals are aligned
• Communicating policies to associates and act as the primary information source for the team, maintaining compliance and consistency and taking corrective action when needed
• Directing and ensuring top services to farmers/customers
• Developing performance goals and objectives to ensure accuracy, quality and customer expectations are met
• Maintain health and safety standards within the collections centers and promote a positive health and safety culture onsite
• Direct and oversee job assignments and plan daily, weekly, monthly, and peak season labor schedules
• To ensure the vehicle /equipment are in right place and in good conditions
• Coordinates and monitors the contents of shipments that leave one of the centers (collection or fulfillment centers)
• Assists with training Material Movement Team
• Plan, assign, and direct
• Rewarding and disciplining employees and addressing complaints and resolving
• Involved in Multi-disciplinary steps that directly drives the company’s Continuous Improvement Process and Policies
• Responsible for On the Job Ensures compliance with Comprehensive Safety Procedures.
• Effectively manage the fleet at his /her center
• Use associated information systems to coordinate and control fleet
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree /Masters in a business-related field with a focus on supply chain, logistics, or other operational type fields /Agriculture
• 3+ years of progressive experience in a fast-paced, high-volume distribution operation which included automation
• A Minimum of 2+ years prior experience managing a team; demonstrated leadership skills and ability to manage staff
• Experience in a B2C or E-Commerce warehouse operation preferred
• Extensive experience as a farm manager with hands-on capacity
Working Conditions
• Exposure warehousing equipment hazards and varying temperatures in collection/fulfillment Centers
• Flexibility to travel to various collection/fulfillment centers, farmer’s/vendors locations and corporate office
• Regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers while performing the duties of this job

• Good verbal and written communication skills
