Pact is seeking a consultant firm to use the written policy to develop an online course for Child safeguarding policy which will be taken by all of Pact and CSO staff.
Location: Dar es Salaam, possible field travel
Period: March-April (approximately 30 days)
Background:
Pact is working in partnership with the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric Aids Foundation, the Aga Khan Foundation, Railway Children Africa, and the Ifakara Health Institute on a five-year (2016-2021) USAID/PEPFAR funded project to enhance the strengths of families caring for orphans and vulnerable children (OVC). The project, USAID Kizazi kipya works towards USAID's President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) goal of 90-90-90, where 90% of people know their HIV status, 90% of those positive are receiving antiretroviral therapy (ART) and 90% of those receiving ART achieve viral suppression
To ensure the Kizazi kipya project staff understand the organization's child safeguarding policy, Pact is seeking a consultant firm to use the written policy to develop an online course which will be taken by all of Pact and CSO staff.
Consultancy objectives
Under the guidance of Pact's Case Management and Child Protection Advisor, the Consultant will develop an on-line course on Pact Tanzania's Child Safeguarding Policy for Pact and CSO staff.
At a minimum the system must meet the following requirements:
• A web-based application with the ability to provide a guided self-study training in a form of video, audio, and text.
• Ability to randomly provide questions for test
• Ability to resume the course whenever user stops the course
• Provide an e-certificate to staff who completed the test with the defined score provided
• The online course application is expected to produce individual level and aggregate reports to indicate staff (fully names, positions, organization) who have taken the course and their score and date they passed the course
Required Experiences
• International development or a related field: the offeree should provide evidence of the team's experienced in the said field.
• Software development skills: the offeree should provide evidence of the team's having skills in software development, specifically a web-based application
• Company must provide evidence of similar activity performed Vendor must submit the following information to Pact Tanzania: . Current company profile . Copies of registration certificate and address of their registered office, valid business licence, Tax clearance certificate, VAT and TIN certificates
• Descriptions of similar assignments, and at least two (2) names and addresses of client served
• Each tender should also indicate the charges/costs and mode of payments.
• Quote valid for 30days
