Job Description

Therefore, applications are invited from qualified Tanzanians to fill the positions mentioned below;

Minimum entry qualifications
• Holder of Certificate in one of the following fields; Air Cargo, Ground Handling or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.
• The possession certificate of IATA or UFTAA will be added advantage.
• The possession Diploma in IATA or UFTAA, Marketing, Air Transport Management, Business Administration majoring in Marketing, Air Ticketing, Air Cargo, Dangerous Goods, Ground Handling will be added advantage.
• Must be computer literate.

Duties and responsibilities:
• Handle general cargo and Post Office mail bags at point of origin
• Handling of incoming and outgoing cargo and verifies that the import and export documents meet standards
• Assembles cargo according to destination.
• Check incoming cargo and mail against the cargo manifest
• Prepare arrival advices for all received cargo as per cargo manifest
• Accept cargo from shippers and prepare for carriage all shipments from agents.
• To ensure each unit load devise is inspected prior to and after build up, and a ULDs in a non-airworthy or non-aircraft-safe condition is not loaded aboard an aircraft
• Managing and assisting with cargo loading processes
• Communicating the shipping status to customers
• Notifies shippers of delays in departure of shipment.
• Weighs items and determines cost, using approved cargo market rate
• Perform any other official duties as may be assigned by your supervisor.

Terms and conditions:
• Five (5) years contract with attractive remuneration and fringe benefits as per ATCL Salary Structure and Incentive Scheme.

Sales Engineer
Job Summary.

Our Client, Oil and Lubricants Company is looking for a qualified Sales Engineer to manage the selling of the complex scientific and technological products. He/she will be responsible with maintaining extensive knowledge of the products, functions and processes and assisting to close sales where technical expertise may be required to fit the Clients’ needs.

Responsibilities;
• Preparing and developing technical presentations to explain our company's products or services to customers.
• Discussing equipment needs and system requirements with customers and engineers.
• Collaborating with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.
• Generating high-quality sales leads, following up after initial contact, securing and renewing orders, negotiating prices, completing sales, and arranging deliveries.
• Researching, developing and modifying products to meet customers' technical requirements and needs.
• Helping customers who have problems with installed products and recommending improved or upgraded materials and machinery.
• Soliciting and logging client feedback and evaluating the data to create new sales and marketing strategies to target customers.
• Identifying areas for improvement and communicating these issues as well as possible solutions to upper management.
• Setting and achieving sales goals and quotas.
• Coordinating with our production team as well as our other companies to provide technical know-how and support to sales and management team.
• Training other members of the sales team on the technical aspects of the company's products and services.

Requirements
• Should have a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in sales and the technology field.
• Preferably with Heavy Earth Moving Equipment experience and/or lubricant experience.
• We are leaning more towards a technical support person than a sales focused person.
• Registered Mechanical Engineer.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills.
• The ability to relate technical information to non-technical customers

Core responsibilities
• Design Customer Value Management (CVM) strategic initiatives that will lead to customer base growth and optimal value extraction from all the existing and new segments in the business to meet the set targets.
• Manage customer life cycles to ensure growth in usage, value, ARPU and reduction of churn in each stage of the life cycle
• Design and implement the pricing strategy to ensure the company has optimal prices and commissions in the market with highest ROI
• Design and implement CVM strategic initiatives to grow the business footprints, network health and capillarity.
• Lead the analytics and reporting teams to ensure availability of proper visibility and timely delivery of key reports.
• Lead the Data Science team to apply scientific and statistical methods in extraction of insights, development of models, problem solving and analytics in general to ensure quality and competent approach towards various commercial and non-commercial initiatives
• Support the other teams with preparation of business cases for investment requirements, promotions and communication budget and any other business case requested by management and follow through to ensure there is return on investment
• Participate in designing and implementation of new products, new use cases, new propositions and ad-hoc initiatives when needed to extract value, grow or defend the segments of the business (customers, merchants, agents, corporates, etc.) and market share both in value and volume
• Any other task assigned by management

Educational qualification
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Actuarial Sciences, IT, Engineering or a related field
• Master’s degree in any of the above is an added advantage

Minimum experence & essential knowledge
• 5+ years’ experience in a similar or any commercial role in the Telecom, Bank or Fintech sectors
• Understating of mobile money products & services and how mobile money works in general
• Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to conceive or understand business ideas/concepts and translate them into business value
• Strong understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives
• Proactive, organized and customer-oriented person with excellent communications skills
