Shell Exploration and Production Tanzania Limited, a subsidiary oi Royal Dutch Shell Plc, is the operator at the deep-water Blocks 1 and 4, altshone Tanzania. Following a successful exploration and appraisal campaign, a large enough quantity of gas has been discovered to underpin an LNG project. Before further technical work will be undertaken, a Commercial Framework for the LNG Protect needs to be agreed between the Investors (of Blacks 1&4 and Block 2) and the Government.

We seek a Tanzanian national to Fill the senior position of Commercial Manager Upstream.

Work within the Commercial team based in Dar es Salaam, the Commercial Manager Upstream is accountable For the Upstream commercial activities during the appraisal and development phases For Blocks 1 and 4. The jobholder shall provide advice to the General Manager Commercial and the Vice President East Africa on upstream and general asset commercial issues. A key aspect for the role will be liaison with Government, attending meetings with the Tanzanian Petroleum Development m (the NOC), PURA (the regulator), the Ministry at Energy, co-ventures and other stake - holders, plus the analysis of how to best align with these stakeholders to support.
