Baylor-Tanzania is part of the Baylor College of Medicine international Pediatric AIDS Initiative (BIPAI) Clinical centers of Excellence Network. which is headquartered at Texas Children's Hospital, Houston. Texas, USA. Through collaboration with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Government of Tanzania through the Ministry of Health. Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children. Baylor-Tanzania is looking for highly motivated, well-qualified individuals to join its growing program team under USAID

Post: Finance Assistant (1)
Location: Mwanza

Position Summary
The Finance Officer will be responsible for preparing and processing financial and transaction forms for the purpose of checking account balances, facilitating purchases, conducting routine calculations to produce analysis and reports as requested by the finance team. collecting and entering data for various financial spreadsheets. During the implementation period, the Finance Assistant will be an essential support in order to prepare bank reconciliations. processes cash disbursements and cash receipts, ensuring complete and appropriate documentation is retained.

Minimum Qualification

• Minimum academic qualification: Advanced Diploma in Accountancy from a recognized institution; Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Business Administration degree (accounting Option] will be an added advantage.

• Minimum experience and exposure of at least 3 years in a busy accounting Office.
