Job Summary:
The Chef de Partie is responsible for managing a specific section of the kitchen, such as sauces, meats, or pastries. This role involves preparing and cooking dishes, supervising junior staff, and ensuring high-quality food production.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage a specific section of the kitchen (e.g., grill, sauté, pastry).
• Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and standards.
• Supervise and train junior kitchen staff in your section.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in your section.
• Monitor food quality and presentation.
• Assist in menu planning and recipe development.
• Collaborate with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Manage inventory and order supplies for your section.
General Requirements:
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the hospitality industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail & commitment to guest satisfaction
• Ability to thrive in a multicultural and fast-paced environment
