JOB DETAILS:
Kibo Palace Hotels & Resorts are seeking a passionate Front Office Manager to join our team.
Reporting directly to the Rooms Division Manager as part of our Executive team, this position
works very closely with our Financial Controller and Executive Director to achieve optimum
revenue results for all segments of the business unit.
Who we are
Family-based hotels located in Arusha and Moshi. Our portfolio is broken down into 2 hotels,
The Arusha hotel is a boutique hotel with 77 rooms, a pool, gym, sauna, steam bath, conference
rooms, restaurant, lounges and bar. The Moshi property is more of a budget hotel however still
very modern with amenities such as a coffee shop, restaurant, boardroom, rooftop and more.
Aside from the hotels, we have a serviced apartment in Arusha as well as fully furnished rental
villas both in Moshi and Arusha. Join us at our Hotel, where we create stories that stay.
Your day to day
Join our team of Assistant Managers in leading our Front Office team to ensure a memorable
guest experience is delivered, the team are motivated & departmental revenue goals are met.
On the daily, you’ll ensure all Front Office operations run smoothly. You’ll drive team
engagement, people management, guest feedback & problem resolution, brand & cleanliness
standards. This is a busy and varied role with connection to all departments across the Hotel.
Your presentation, passion for service and eagerness to lead will be the key to creating a
seamless, luxury experience for our guests.
What we need from you
• 3+ years’ experience in Front Office operations, including demonstrated experience in a
leadership capacity at team leader or supervisor or management level
• Exceptional service standards and ability to lead within a VIP environment
• Qualifications in Hotel Management and/or related field would be advantageous
• Excellent communication skills, bilingual or multilingual language skills are
advantageous
• Strong organisational, written & communication skills, with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & prioritise workload
