JOB DETAILS:
Entry Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution. Must be registered with ERB as a Professional Engineer with a current practicing license.
• A postgraduate qualification in Bridge/Structural Engineering is an added advantage.
• At least 7 years of cumulative working experience in related supervision or design of bridges/structures.
• Fluency in written and spoken Swahili and English is mandatory.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Review structural drawings and reports for compliance with standards and specifications.
• Inspect and approve construction materials for compliance with technical specifications.
• Keep and maintain records, including reports, diaries, correspondences, and instructions.
• Approve measured quantities of drainage works.
• Prepare and submit mini progress reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Successful applicants must be ready to work for considerable lengths of time in Songwe Region where projects are located.

2. Salary: TANROADS Salary scale with other site allowances as per TANROADS Incentive Policy.
