JOB DETAILS:

The Authority with the ISO 9001:2015 certification in quality management systems, is hereby seeking for a relevant qualified and highly motivated persons to fill the following vacancies available in her manning bevel for unspecified terms of employment

Scope of the position and its expected outputs:
The holder of this position is responsible for operating the pumps in the Plant and Maintenance Section .The outputs of this position are therefore reflected in the quality of work provided by the_ Section.
Working relationship: Reports to the Plant and Maintenance Technician

Key duties and responsibility

• Operates water pumps and mechanical/electrical! Equipment in accordance with set schedules;
  
• Monitors electrical equipment and pumps performance and advises the Plant and Maintenance Technician in case of malfunctioning;
  
• Carries out housekeeping work for pumping station and equipment;
  
• Records such machine performance as pressure gauges, meter readings, electric meter, eta;
  
• Records the amount of pumped water at established time intervals;
  
• Takes water tank levels readings at established time intervals;
  
• Comply with ISO requirements on the daily activities;
  
• Performs such other radiated duties as may be assigned by the Plant and Maintenance Supervisor from time to time.
  

Qualification

• Holders of National Form IV/Form VI Certificate;
  
• Trade Test Grade One/Level III Certificate in Mechanical/Electrical/Pumps/ Civil/ Plumbing;
  
• At /east one year working experience with a reputable employer:
