JOB DETAILS:
Entry Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution. Must be registered with ERB as a Professional Engineer and have a current practicing certificate. A postgraduate qualification in Civil Engineering is an added advantage.
• At least 10 years of cumulative working experience in road and bridge construction designs, supervision, and contract management/administration under FIDIC Conditions of Contract.
• Must have served as a Resident Engineer or in an equivalent capacity in at least three (3) road construction projects of similar nature in the last 10 years.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English is mandatory.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Head the site staff and be responsible for all technical and administrative aspects on site.
• Supervise the contractor at site and manage work plans for the project.
• Manage quality control, project contracts, and prepare monthly progress reports.
• Process contractor invoices and facilitate payments.
• Prepare and attend regular site meetings, preparing minutes and monitoring the implementation of Social and Environmental Impact mitigation measures.
• Keep updated records including reports, works diaries, correspondences, instructions to contractors, test records, measurement and quantity calculations, payment records, and all other relevant documents.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager (PM).
