What you’ll do
- Oversee and manage the accounts receivable processes, ensuring that all incoming donations, grants, and other receivables are recorded accurately and on time.
- Reconcile and maintain AR ledgers and donor records, ensuring the accurate tracking of outstanding receivables.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure that donor restrictions, grant conditions, and invoicing requirements are properly adhered to.
- Ensure timely communication with donors and sponsors regarding overdue receivables and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Support the finance team with reporting on cash flow, funding, and donor contributions to help guide financial decision-making.
What we’re looking for
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or financial coordination, with experience managing donor or grant payments.
- Strong understanding of nonprofit accounting principles and donor management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with external partners and internal teams.
- A strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining financial integrity and accuracy in all aspects of accounts receivable.
